Logo advertisement

This Mott's advertisement gives you straight facts about the juice and tells you what you need to know on the label. So this would be logos.


This advertisement is a Ethos because they give you statistics on the product so you feel like you know alot about them, and at the same time they put down other competitors by comparing rates and pretty much persuading people.
This would be Pathos because in this ad they attempt to pull in the kids by having a bunny advertise there product. 9 times out of ten the children will favor the product that they think is the funnest or coolest. Ads like this and Tony the Tiger really attract the younger croud along to go with there delicious product.

Merchants Of Cool

One thing that surprised me was that they actually let music groups who talked about such negative and violent things get air time on tv so all the children can see that. Another thing was the level of sexual activity on teenage shows was too much. It may steer kids in the wrong direction when it comes to sex. Last but not least i learned that television doesn't care about what kind of junk they give there viewers. There only concern is having high ratings for there program.

1. It makes me feel like there prey on children and are desperate for there attention so they can make money off them.
2. I disagree.. B/c they reflect on real world stuff but put there own twist into it to make it seem more interesting for the teenage audience.
